GOODBYE MY FRIEND!

Well in case you didn't listen this past Friday, DMike left us! He is moving to Virginia with his girlfriend. It was a sad day for Courtney and I!

When I started the "5 O'Clock Somewhere Show" it was designed for just one person, me! Then we ran news in the afternoon, Dave Michaels was the news guy! One day I asked him if he would want to talk before and after news....he said sure. Each week it got longer and I thought what would the boss say if I had a co-host?

After a couple of meetings he agreed, he gave me a couple of months...and that was 3-4 yrs ago! DMike was a special talent! He never had a formal training in broadcasting....he had "life" training. The guy knows everyone and has been everywhere! I'm glad that his travels included T102. Will we replace him....NO we can't!

I wish his time with us was longer, hopefully some day our paths will cross again!

Good Luck DMike! We'll miss ya! You are a friend and always will be! Remember even in Virginia......"It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere"!
