ANNOYING CO-WORKERS

Most of us are slaves to the grind, worker bees, peons.
This means that most of are surrounded by other drones, many of which are annoying.
According to ManCouch.com, here are a few co-workers we all wish we could punch in the face, but probably shouldn't. (At least until the economy improves.)

1. The Go-Getter -- He works overtime when it is not necessary. He sucks up to every person in a position of authority. He sits at his desk doing nothing all day, then gets "busy" when the boss shows up. This guy needs to get a life -- and watch his back.

2. The Bad Breath Guy -- Modern man has to work in close quarters, often sharing offices or shoved together in cubicles. This work would be much more enjoyable your office mate's breath didn't smell like a rotting corpse. There's plenty of gum and mint choices out there ... choose one!

3. The Question Asker -- There is always one in the group. When you're in a mandatory meeting and all you want to do get it done and get out of there, some chump extends the torture at the end of the meeting by asking a dumb question. And then another. And, then another. The horror.

'TIS THE SEASON: Stay Calm This Christmas

Thanksgiving, the "easy" holiday, is over. Now, it's time for the stress march to Christmas.

There's decorations and shopping and baking. And, family drama. And, parties. And, Christmas pageants. It should come as no surprise that the holidays are one of the most stressful times of the year. In fact, the American Psychological Association found that eight out of 10 people expect to be stressed out during the holiday season.

But, according to psychologist Claire Wheeler, author of Ten Simple Solutions to Stress, you don't have to let the crazy holiday season get you down. Here are some of her tips to keep you from melting down:

1. Manage Expectations -- We set ourselves up for disappointment by expecting everything to be perfect. It helps to just sort out your expectations and then adjust them accordingly.

2. Learn from Past Mistakes -- Be honest and ask yourself which parts of holidays past worked -- and which didn't. Then, make a conscious decision not to repeat those mistakes.

3. Relax -- It sounds simple, but there is magic in just breathing properly. Breathing in for four counts through your nose and then out for eight counts through your mouth triggers the relaxation response, reduces blood pressure and heart rate and eases your mind.
