Bizarre Vending Machines

Here in America, we've got vending machines for soda and candy bars. Fairly recently, DVD rental vending machines have become a big deal. But in other parts of the world, vending machines are used much more creatively. Here are some of the craziest things you can actually buy from a vending machine: Eggs -- In Japan, fresh eggs are sold from refrigerated machines. Umbrellas -- If you hop off a train or bus and it's raining, there are vending machines selling umbrellas. How perfect is that? Beer -- Vending machines in Japan sell beer. (Because we're a little prudish about this stuff, we'll probably not see this in America in our lifetime.) Blue Jeans -- Not sure when you'd be in a pinch to buy pants. Sort of tough to lose them.
